Notre Dame has what will most likely be their biggest official visit weekend in the month of June this past weekend, but it doesn't mean it is over. Head coach Marcus Freeman is still welcoming visitors all throughout this week, starting with 4-star quarterback Keegan Croucher.

Croucher is set to visit South Bend today and throw for the coaching staff. Even though Croucher is a 2027 recruit, this is huge news coming out of Notre Dame. Freeman has not been shy about welcoming 2027 recruits, and Croucher is not the only quarterback to come in and throw for the Fighting Irish this month.

After having an unofficial visit back in April, Croucher will step on campus for a second time today to show the coaching staff a little more of what he has to offer the Fighting Irish. Croucher is not just being looked at by Notre Dame, but other big programs as well, such as Michigan, Oregon, and Penn State.

Over the weekend, coaches were able to officially reach out to 2027 recruits directly, and Notre Dame quarterbacks coach Gino Guidugli contacted Croucher. The young 4-star gunslinger has said that his relationship with Guidugli is solid; he is the reason Croucher is throwing in front of the staff today.

Now, Notre Dame has yet to officially give an offer to Croucher, but two trips to South Bend will usually result in something, and the young Connecticut native is aware of that. Croucher has expressed that he is very high on Notre Dame for his recruitment, and he feels they are also high on him; the offer just needs to be extended.

A good outing today to the rest of the coaching staff could easily result in an offer from Freeman. So far, Notre Dame has yet to get a commit from a 2027 recruit, which is not out of the ordinary as it is still very early in that class's recruitment. However, an offer to Croucher could mean something for the Fighting Irish in the Class of 2027.
