The Notre Dame football team continues to find out bits and pieces about when specifically they’ll be playing their opponents. Unfortunately, one game they got a time for this week has Irish fans a bit annoyed.

Notre Dame will play the Arkansas Razorbacks on September 27. We already knew that. Now we also know that the game will take place at noon. Plenty of people are more than a little annoyed that this game isn’t in a more prime location.

However, there is an argument that the Notre Dame Fighting Irish will blow out Arkansas and that the Razorbacks aren’t a team that warrants a better time slot, especially with bigger games scheduled for that day. This will likely be a contest that sticks in the craw of Irish fans for a long time.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish lead for visitor in Donovan Webb

This weekend is a big one for the Irish. Marcus Freeman and his staff are hosting a ton of top recruits, including Joey O’brien. One prospect is seen as a pretty big longshot, but they at least have a shot since he’s in South Bend.

Donovan Webb isn’t one of those analysts who think will eventually pull the trigger for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, but he’s in town, so there’s always a chance. It’s about convincing the 4-star prospect that South Bend could eventually be his home.

Al Golden is in the middle of a mess with the Bengals

Former Notre Dame Fighting Irish defensive coordinator Al Golden jumped to the NFL earlier this year. He has to be wondering if that was a good idea. The Bengals have gotten into several contract disputes since he took over. And more unfortunate is that those disputes have all been on the defensive side of the ball.
