It is clear that Notre Dame has one of the best, if not the best, running backs in the country in Jeremiyah Love. He was graded as that before the season even started, and he is backing up that talk now during the season. However, the Fighting Irish have also found a diamond in fellow running back Jadarian Price, who has brought a whole new level to Notre Dame's run game.
Love and Price are clearly the top two running backs for Notre Dame, as Love leads the way with 444 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns, and Price is a close second with 356 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns. When one is having a rough game, the other picks them up, and it is even scarier when both of them are on and can't be stopped.
Against Boise State in Week 6, Love and Price were given the highest grades by PFF for a running back duo, making them seem like the best in the country. Even though Love was about for a couple plays with an undisclosed injury, he still finished the game as the leading rusher with 103 rushing yards adn a rushing touchdown, and Price finished behind him with 83 rushing yards and a touchdown.

This duo has been working overtime, but so has the run game for Notre Dame as a whole. The run game for Notre Dame has been on point for the Fighting Irish this season, with 893 total rushing yards and 15 total rushing touchdowns. This is compared to the receiving game with 1,415 receiving yards and only 11 receiving touchdowns.
This shows that Freeman is doing an amazing job of mixing up the run adn the pass to keep defenses on their toes as to what kind of play is coming. It is clear that the run game has been working for the Fighting Irish.
Love and Price are doing something special as a duo for this offense, and they are looking to be unstoppable so far this season.
