Ex-Notre Dame football star gets trolled by Heisman winner
Life is likely very different from when Sam Hartman was the starting quarterback of Notre Dame football. These days, he’s trying to catch on with the Washington Commanders, though he’s fully aware that at least out of the gate, he’s not going to be the starter.
That doesn’t mean he hasn’t forged a decent relationship with the man that he’s fighting to back up. It appears that Hartman and Commanders expected-starter Jayden Daniels are friendly, even if they’re not yet best of buds.
Hartman recently celebrated his birthday and one of his new teammates decided that meant it was the perfect time to troll him mercilessly online. Daniels had himself quite the laugh at the expense of the former Notre Dame football star.
Ex-Notre Dame football star trolled mercilessly on his birthday
In a video shared on the Commanders’ social media page, the 1st-round pick trolled Hartman about his age, saying he it was his 30th birthday.
It’s a funny moment by the two, as you know that the former LSU signal-caller was just messing around with his fellow rookie teammate. Although both of them are new to the organization, it is expected that the LSU product will take over the starting spot once the season commences.
One can hope that perhaps Hartman can show enough to his new team that even though he’s obviously not going to be the starter, he could win the backup or third string roll. Notre Dame football fans are rooting for him to make it.
