The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are looking for guys to take the offense to the next level in 2024. Jaden Greathouse is one of the candidates, assume he can stay healthy. So far this spring, he's showed enough flashes that his coaches are more than a little encouraged.

One reason that Greathouse has had a great spring is that he's managed to work out of the slot, a spot he's more comfortable with. Last year he got pushed outside by Jordan Faison, however, Faison has been busy this spring with the country's top ranked lacrosse team.

“He's a bigger body playing in the slot, which is a little bit different,” said Notre Dame wide receivers coach Mike Brown said after practice on Saturday. “Most of the slots are smaller guys. But he still has the quickness."

“Greathouse has been as pleasant a surprise,” Denbrock said during his own session with the media on Saturday. “His versatility is off the charts. He can play outside. He can play the boundary. He can play the field. He can play the slot. Him, in particular, is a guy that we’re going to have to kind of use mixed all over."

It will certainly be interresting to see how the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are going to use Jaden Greathouse this season, especially if he's actually able to stay healthy.
