While the Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team didn't last the way they hoped it would, the offseason has been mostly one piece of good news after another. On Tuesday night, the Irish got another piece of good news.

KK Bransford, who actually entered the transfer portal a few weeks ago, has had a change of heart.

Bransford averaged 7.5 points and 3.4 rebounds in 66 games (19 starts) over the course of her Notre Dame career. She's not a starter by any stretch, but she is someone who can be an important depth piece for a Notre Dame Fighting Irish women's basketball team that is going to be one of the best teams in the sport next season.

At the same time that KK Bransford was announcing that she's going to stay with Notre Dame, it appears that Olivia Miles was putting rumors to rest that she was going to enter the portal. Not long after the season ended, there was talk that Hannah Hidalgo and Miles couldn't coexist. It appears that MIles has ended those rumors once and for all.

Hannah Hidalgo had already made it clear she was planning on coming back for another season.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish men's team lost out on a recruit this week. Former Colorado guard Luke O'brien had been considering South Bend, however he chose Georgia Tech instead.

There's been a lot of "will he or won't he" with Deuce Knight lately. There's also been plenty of pressure from schools like Alabama and Ole Miss hoping to pull him away from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

However, Deuce was in South Bend for the Blue-Gold game and once again had a great visit. That would seem to indicate that at the very least, he's not moving on yet.
