The Notre Dame Football team had a big day on Saturday, showing their fans plenty of reasons to get excited for the 2024 season. However, it’s important to remember that as good as the Fighting Irish looked on Saturday, some players weren’t even active for the Blue-Gold game.

Chief among the guys who didn’t participate in the Blue-Gold game was one of the Golden Domers’ best freshmen from the 2023 season. Jordan Faison didn’t play in the scrimmage, but he had a good excuse that had nothing to do with injury. However, even if he didn’t play, Faison did a bit of double duty on what had to be quite an exhausting and exhilarating Saturday.

Faison started his morning playing for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish lacrosse team as they wrapped up another ACC championship thanks to a win over North Carolina.

Faison once again showed anyone who didn’t believe he could handle double duty how wrong they were. He scored his 16th goal in 10 games this season for the Irish. He’s also got four assistant for a total of 20 points this season. That has him in a tie for fifth on the Nottre Dame LAX team.

That goal, by the way was pivotal for the Irish, who got off to a bit of a slow start before they took command. Faison’s goal tied the match at 3-3.

After he finished his LAX game, Faison hustled over to the Notre Dame football stadium where he got to watch his teammates finish up their spring practices. He got to watch freshman quarterback CJ Carr steal the show.

He also got to look at a wide receiver corps that made some noise on Saturday. And most importantly, he got to show that once again, the Notre Dame Football star is making all of this work.
