The Notre Dame football team has a big weekend in store recruiting-wise. A number of commits, such as Deuce Knight and Ivan Taylor, are taking in the sights. There are also uncommitted prospects, like Dylan Robinson, who would be massive additions to the 2025 class.

Ahead of his visit to see what the Fighting Irish have to offer, Robinson talked to several recruiting analysts and made it clear that ND is very much in the running. They may in fact be a front runner.

For Marcus Freeman and the rest of the team, the stakes are high. They’ve faced some setbacks in recent weeks, notably with Jayvan Boggs. However, they remain resolute in their pursuit of Robinson, recognizing the importance of landing him for the team's future success.

Notre Dame football ‘high’ on the list for 4-star receiver Dylan Robinson

“I’m looking forward to getting to know all the coaches and staff better,” Robinson told Irish Breakdown. “I am also excited to understand where I fit into the scheme. Those meetings with the coaches are really what I’m looking forward to most.”

Robinson is one of those who understands that being a member of the Fighting Irish is more than just success on the football field. He’s looking at being with one of the best programs in the history of college football and then being from one of the best universities in the world.

“Notre Dame is obviously very high because one, it’s Notre Dame,” Robinson explained. “Then two, the staff is made up of great people. The program is great at developing men to be the best they can be and setting them up for life as well as developing football players.”

As a junior, Robinson caught 22 passes for 514 yards and six touchdowns. A two-way standout he had 69 tackles, four interceptions, and five more passes defended. He’s the kind of talent the Notre Dame football team needs. And they’re hoping to close the deal over the weekend.
