Notre Dame has a Louisville problem with Brady Hart, Noah Grubbs
Even for Notre Dame football, recruiting is quite the roller coaster ride. There are the high, highs of geting commit after commit and finishing the 2024 class as one of the top teams in the country.
Then there are the low lows of finding out that one of your top prospects at wide receiver doesn't even consider you among his Top 5 teams anymore. And then there's sitting and watching as one of your more bitter rivals of late is coming hard after two of your prized quarterback recruits.
Notre Dame football suddenly has a Louisville problem with Brady Hart, Noah Grubbs
Noah Grubbs and Brady Hart are two of the best quarterbacks in the 2026 class. They also both happened to be considered leans to Notre Dame. They are both considered such solid leans that some analysts believe it's just a race to see who commits first.
However, it's possible things have changed a bit with the Florida signal-callers. And it's possible that one team that has entered the race for both could be a thorn in the Irish side.
Louisville is certainly an up-and-coming program. The Cardinals throttled the Golden Domers when the two teams met last fall. It feels like that was the game that officially took Notre Dame out of the NCAA Playoffs race.
Now the Cards and their quarterback whisperer head coach are coming after not just one but both star quarterback prospects. In the last week both Brady Hart and Noah Grubbs announced official offers from Louisville.
While it's not all that odd that the ACC team would go after two Florida-based prospects, even if it is a coincidence, the timing seems like a shot across the bow at Notre Dame. For whatever reason, things have gotten a bit testy between the two programs.
Notre Dame football has long been thought to be close to getting one of their prized quarterback prospects to pull the trigger. Could these offers intensify that pursuit?
