Notre Dame football: How to watch 2022 NFL Combine Day 1 on-field workouts
By Brad Weiss
The Notre Dame football program will have two players working out on-field on Day 1 of the 2022 NFL Combine. Here is how to watch.
The 2022 NFL Combine is underway, and on Thursday, we will get to see two Notre Dame football stars take the field on Day 1 of the on-field workouts. Thursday will feature workouts from the quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends, which means Jack Coan and Kevin Austin Jr. will be participating in the afternoon.
Both players need a strong week in Indianapolis to solidify themselves as legitimate NFL Draft prospects, as they are both considered possible Day 3 picks, or even undrafted free agent signings. The on-field workout is only a part of the process, as they have to pass the physical test, and go through the interview process, something that should not be an issue for either player.
Thursday, the action on the field kicks off, and here is how you can catch all of the excitement.

With only five prospects heading to Indianapolis this week, the Irish are not as represented as they are in other years, but all five of these players have a chance to be picked in 2022. Kyle Hamilton and Kyren Williams are definite selections, with Hamilton being a top-3 prospect, and Williams expected to go on Day 2.
Williams will work out with the running backs on Friday, Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa will hit the field on Saturday, and Hamilton and the rest of the draft’s defensive backs will close out the week on Sunday.
For both players, today is a huge day in terms of them realizing their NFL dreams, and it will be interesting to see how they perform alongside some of the best talent in this year’s draft class. Coan and Austin played huge roles on the Irish offense in 2021, and hopefully, they can turn themselves into draft picks this week.
