If you’re someone who wonders if and when Marcus Freeman will ever end the current hot streak for Notre Dame recruiting he’s on, you’re not alone. The latest sign that he’s not slowing down came on Saturday, right around the same time he hauled in his latest commitment from defensive lineman Tiki Hola, another top target had crossed a rival off his list.

Wide receiver Brayden Robinson has been in the Fighting Irish’s sites for a while now. However, things seem they’re getting better since running back Javian Osborne gave his pledge to Freeman and company.

Brayden Robinson cancels Ohio State visit, boosting Notre Dame’s chances

Robinson and Osborne are very good friends. They’ve appeared as though they could be a package deal and Notre Dame would love for them to be a package deal in South Bend. And now, the 4-star wide receiver is canceling his official visit to Ohio State.

Robinson announced he’s not taking in Columbus anymore on Saturday afternoon. It took no time at all to connect the dots from his social media post to the Irish landing yet another top ranked commitment.

Freeman has been on the kind of tear recruiting wise that few schools can equal. He seems to be impressing the prospects he sets his eyes on. That includes Robinson, an elite wide receiver prospect out of Red Oak, Texas.

For now, Notre Dame still has a few roadblocks in its way. He’s still expected to take an official visit to Arizona on May 30 and then one to Miami on June 6. When he heads to South Bend on June 20, he could be pulling the trigger and giving the Irish yet another massive commitment.
