The Notre Dame football team is on an incredible recruiting run and that run is so nuts right now, it feels like there’s just going to be a cascading effect that goes on and on and on.

Exhibit A of that is that while the Irish were securing the commitment of 4-star running back Javian Osborne, it looks like they were making progress on getting yet another outstanding offensive player in Brayden Robinson. In fact, it looks like Osborne and Robinson could eventually be a package deal and a massive all around win for Marcus Freeman and company.

Notre Dame commit Javian Osborne could help bring 4-star WR Brayden Robinson to South Bend

The proof is in the pudding, or in this case, the proof is in who was in attendance for Osborne’s announcement ceremony. It turns out that when Osborne announced he was committing to the Notre Dame football program, Robinson was in the room and celebrating the decision.

Not long after Osborne picked the Irish, Robinson posted some a video on social media that should certainly get ND fans’ attention. He showed both athletes standing with each other and added the caption “brudda Irish.”

Obviously, this could just mean that a friend he considers a brother is Irish. Or it could mean that they are going to be brothers with the Irish. No matter what it means in the moment, it’s clear that Osborne is going to have plenty of opportunities to do some peer recruiting.

Notre Dame have already made quite a bit of progress in convincing the 4-star wide receiver out of Red Oak, Texas he needs to spend his college years in South Bend. He took an unofficial visit to town in the middle of last month, right about the time Freeman’s hot streak started.

He’s also slated for an official visit on June 20. While he’s also expected to take official visits to Ohio State (June 13) and Miami (June 6) this sure seems like a a situation where the last visit is the ability to make the final argument.

On3 analyst Mike Singer certainly believes the Notre Dame football team has the inside track, putting in an a prediction for the Fighting Irish. Now it’s all about Javian Osborne putting the finishing touches on the push to land Brayden Robinson this summer.
