The days of constantly worrying over whether or not the Notre Dame football team would lose Deuce Knight seem ages ago. Just a few months ago, the main recruiting focus was the Mississippi high school quarterback.

Then the Irish lost Deuce Knight to the Auburn Tigers, and it seemed like that was the end of his recruiting. And then it wasn’t.

And now, the Notre Dame football team is watching the school they lost Deuce Knight to, worry about losing Deuce Knight to another school. And As it turns out, the 4-star quarterback might be on his way to the school where it seemed like he might end up in the first place.

Notre Dame football is starting a club

Knight took in the Ole Miss game vs Mississippi State this weekend. And in the process, there are more than a few recruiting experts who believe he could be on the verge of flipping again. There are those who believe it could end up being on signing day, or he’ll pull the trigger right before.

Notre Dame football has to like the fact that with Blake Hebert in the fold they no longer have to worry about where Deuce Knight is going or when he’ll make the announcement.

The Notre Dame football team gets to sit back and watch the Knight rollercoaster ride start up again. However, there’s always going to be a little voice at the back of fans’ heads wondering what could have been. And now that same voice might be at the back of Auburn Tigers’ fans heads before long.
