With nearly 1,000 rushing yards and almost 20 total touchdowns, Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love has once again been a monster for his opponents to try to slow down.

Yet, the elite athlete sees room for improvement, even though he's more than happy to compare himself to star NFL running back Jahmyr Gibbs, calling him a game-changer for the Detroit Lions. Not to mention, he models his game on legends like Barry Sanders and Saquon Barkley.

When ESPN's College GameDay was in Pitt for Notre Dame's matchup against the Panthers, the cast did a pre-game interview with Love, and he shared exactly where he sees the possibility for growth.

Jeremiyah Love isn't satisfied with his game yet

Love shared that he needs to focus more on his north-south game, looking downfield to earn more yards instead of shifting to the side, so that he can be more effective when it comes to gaining yards.

When it comes to what he loves about the game? He said he loves making guys miss on the field and making a spectacular play or two when he can, which is pretty dang often.

Love helped lead the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to their National Championship berth last season with 1,125 rushing yards, 237 receiving yards, and 19 total touchdowns. Already this season, with three regular-season games remaining, he has earned 988 rushing yards, 254 receiving yards, and 16 TDs.

This weekend, Love and the Fighting Irish are facing the Pitt Panthers, a team that is (somehow) still vying for a spot in the College Football Playoffs if they win out. Meanwhile, Notre Dame has nearly cemented its place in the Playoffs, barring any disasters.

Heading into the matchup, the Fighting Irish were favored by a resounding 12.5 points, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

No. 9 Notre Dame and No. 22 Pitt were scheduled to kick off at noon ET on Saturday, Nov. 15, and the game was set to be broadcast on ABC.
