4-star Notre Dame commit gives Marcus Freeman huge news with other teams lurking

One of Notre Dame football’s top commits just made it clear no other team has a shot.

One of the truly special things about Marcus Freeman's approach to getting kids to sign on with the Notre Dame football team is that they tend to commit because they truly love the school and the program. There isn’t much in the way of doubt that they will still be in the fold come signing day.

That was demonstrated again when Tiki Hola talked about how he knew he was committing to the Irish before he told anyone. It was also shown again when Bubba Frazier recently talked to On3 about whether he’ll be taking any more visits after giving his pledge to the Blue and Gold.

Notre Dame lands firm commitment from Bubba Frazier

Bubba Frazier’s commitment was at the beginning of the Notre Dame football recruiting surge. And now that he’s had a month to rest and reflect, is he considering taking in other schools? That’s a big no.

In fact, Frazier told Mike Singer that he’s shutting down his recruitment. As the wide receiver said, he’s “locked in” with the Fighting Irish.

That’s certainly newsworthy considering that power teams like the Georgia Bulldogs are still trying to find a way to lure him from South Bend. The 4-star speedster out of Benedictine Military School (Savannah, GA) is just within shouting distance of Athens.

Kirby Smart is a hard man to say no to, especially when he’s putting on the full-court press. However, the elite wideout knows that Marcus Freeman is also tough to say no to.

Now that Bubba Frazier has officially said yes to the Notre Dame football program, he’s not going anywhere.
