As the Notre Dame football team continues its recruiting hot streak, the Irish could celebrate Independence Day with three commitments over three days. 4-star wide receiver Brayden Robinson's latest schedule shakeup means he'll announce his pledge on July 6. That's a full two weeks before his announcement was first set.
The reschedule also means he'll be committing right around the same time two other top wide receiver targets of Marcus Freeman and company are picking their schools. Kaydon Finley is set to announce his commitment on July 4, and then the Golden Domers could get two more big scores with Robinson and Devin Fitzgerald on July 6.
Notre Dame football could nab three elite receivers over a three-day period
All three prospects are currently considered to lean toward the Notre Dame football team. Should they all pull the trigger that week, some fireworks will be going off in South Bend.

Robinson is among the fastest recruits in the 2026 recruiting cycle, having previously run the 100-meter dash in a blazing 10.45 seconds. In three high school seasons he's used his speed to his advantage, catching over 150 passes for more than 2,300 yards with his senior year still to go.
That fact is why Robinson is also one of the most highly-sought after wide receiver targets who is still a free agent. There was a time when it felt like he was going to Ohio State, but a cancellation of his official visit to Columbus squashed that talk.
So what does Robinson moving up his commitment date mean? It doesn't send a strong signal in any direction as he's done with his official visits. The Notre Dame football team got his last visit on June 13. It does appear he's more than ready to pick between his three finalists in ND, Miami and Arizona.
