Marcus Freeman doesn't look like he's slowing down. After the Notre Dame football team has locked down one elite prospect after another over the last few months, he's zeroing in on Brayden Robinson.
Robinson is a 4-star wide receiver who has had at least some interest in the Fighting Irish for quite a while now. It's getting to crunch time, and it appears Freeman is turning the right knobs and pushing the right buttons.
Notre Dame football in strong position as Brayden Robinson reschedules visit
Having appeared even more interested after the Notre Dame football team landed running back Javian Osborne, there's been a shift in Robinson's recruitment. He canceled his visit to Ohio State entirely, removing a significant roadblock for the Irish. Now he's moving his South Bend official visit up into that window.
That means Robinson will be in town on June 13. Notre Dame had wanted him to change his schedule because it would mean he'd also be in town when key Irish targets Kaydon Finley and Kohen Brown were both taking their officials.
At this time of year especially, taking an official visit with other guys excited about what they're seeing and possibly becoming a part of the program can turn it into a group success. Even if you want to think that Robinson is already going to commit to ND, it helps that he'll be in town with some other guys Freeman and company are looking to turn.
Robinson has been thought to be a Notre Dame football lean for a little over a month now. When he takes his official visit to South Bend in June, it's not a stretch to think he might commit. And he might get a few other big targets to do the same.
