Ex-Notre Dame football commit could be on the verge of flipping once again
There was a time when 4-star safety prospect Ivan Taylor was a solid Notre Dame football commit. However, over the summer things changed for one reason or another.
Back in July, Taylor decided he was better suited for life in Ann Arbor and flipped to the Michigan Wolverines. As it turns out, more than a few UM beat writers talked a bit of smack about the situation. Now it looks like they’re getting a taste of their own medicine.
The former Notre Dame football commit looks like he might be flipping again. Unfortunately, it appears that there isn’t a chance he could wind up back at South Bend. Still, there’s plenty of fun to be had by pointing and laughing at a Wolverines team that is struggling through its first post-Jim Harbaugh season, also losing one of its best recruits.
Ex-Notre Dame football commit Ivan Taylor could be flipping again
Earlier this week, it was reported by On3’s Chad Simmons that the safety is once again contemplating a flip, this time to Alabama.
The Crimson Tide were one of three official visits Taylor took in the spring. While Notre Dame may have taken him off its recruiting board, Alabama continued to work on him.
While there was a time when it appeared that Taylor was a solid get for the Wolverines, a flip this late in the process would likely mean he’s sticking in Tuscaloosa.
Just when the former Notre Dame football commit is expected to pull the trigger isn’t known. Though when news break like this, it’s usually not too much longer.
