There is no argument that the Notre Dame football team’s wide receiver recruiting has been pretty disappointing this summer and fall. That’s even with the addition of Antavious Richardson to the class earlier this season.

One of the most interesting things about the Fighting Irish's problems landing multiple talented receivers is that it’s not due to a lack of effort. On Friday, Marcus Freeman and his group officially started the pursuit of a new target.

Notre Dame football has issued a scholarship offer to a wide receiver who is definitely flying under the radar despite being committed to the Tulane Green Wave. It’s not the first time in the last month or so that the Irish have put a commitment to another school in their crosshairs.

Antwaun Parham now holds an offer from Marcus Freeman and his staff, which can’t be easy to ignore. Especially since it’s the first P4 offer for the Pompano Beach prospect.

He’s been a commit to the Green Wave since June but things are heating up a bit since the football season started. His speed and frame appear to have caught the eye of Irish wide receiver coach Mike Brown.

On the season, Parham has 21 catches for 427 yards and 3 touchdowns, according to MaxPreps. More importantly, the man turns each catch into a ton of yards. He’s averaging more than 20 yards per reception.

There are some who are a bit concerned about the Blue and Gold going after someone who’s only other FBS offers are Tulane and Coastal Carolina.

However it appears that this late in the 2025 cycle, the Notre Dame football team is working on stuff pretty far down their board. That doesn’t mean that Parham can’t be a heck of a get, especially in Mike Denbrock’s offense.
