The Notre Dame football team is doing everything in its power to convince people that they are ready for the Georgia Bulldogs. The Sugar Bowl is the biggest game for the Fighting Irish in quite some time and Marcus Freeman’s squad wants to show it is up for the challenge.

The players and coaches are talking a good game about being ready. There’s a quiet confidence among the players at times. And there’s a stated rather obvious confidence at other times. But trying literally everything they can, they’re also wanting to make sure that the fans are hyped and ready.

Notre Dame football releases new hype video for Sugar Bowl

This video starts with typical New Orleans scenes — Bourbon Street, a streetcar — and then transitions into Notre Dame highlights from the 2024 season.

There’s a cool montage of Riley Leonard and Jordan Love running, with various games stitched together.

The whole video has Choppa Style playing in the background and while I’m a little surprised they didn’t go with Lil’ Wayne instead, but beyond that rather obvious mistake, it’s a very good video that manages to sum up what’s at stake and gets Notre Dame football fans all fired up for the game.

The Fighting Irish will take on the Georgia Bulldogs on Wednesday night at 7:45pm South Bend time. Should they manage to log a win, it seems likely they’ll get more people on board with the idea that Freeman’s squad is a team of destiny.
