The Notre Dame football team has had its fair share of injuries this season. There’s been injuries on the defensive line, linebackers, defensive backfield and the offensive line. Charles Jagusah happens to be one of the guys that has gone down this season. Is he on his way back?

That’s still an open question. And for his part, he’d love to be back, but he knows it’s not entirely his call. And these days, the big offensive lineman is worrying about what he can control.

“Whether I play or not, that's not up to me. I just try to do the best I can every day,” Jagusah told the gathered press for Notre Dame football media day ahead of the Sugar Bowl on Wednesday night.

Notre Dame football offensive lineman wouldn’t change a thing

Jagusah has a nice attitude about the season and his role in it. Jagusah said he wouldn't change a thing about this year despite his preseason pectoral injury. The one exception, he said, was maybe losing to Northern Illinois. However, like other Irish players, he thinks its possible they needed that loss.

"I knew it was bad, just because I could not move my arm. In the moment I was hopeful. I was like maybe it will be a couple-week thing. But it turned out to be a lot worse."

Jagusah said he feels good. It's just about getting the confidence to let it fly. At this point, he doesn't really notice the pec issue. And that’s why he hopes the coaches will let him play for the Notre Dame football team against Georgia. Now it’s just about seeing what happens.
