When 4-star wide receiver Brayden Robinson moved up his commitment date by a couple of weeks, it seemed like excellent news for the Notre Dame football team. Marcus Freeman and company got some more great news on Friday morning when one of the most dialed-in recruiting analysts in the country predicted that Robinson will choose the Fighting Irish when he makes his pledge.
After finishing his official visits earlier this month, Robinson is down to his final three schools. Arizona, Miami, and Notre Dame are all considered to be in the running for his commitment, thought the spring has had quite a few analysts deciding that the Irish are the front runners.
Notre Dame football forecast to land Brayden Robinson as July 6 decision nears
On Friday, Steve Wiltfong joined the list of experts who believe the Red Oak, Texas receiver will eventually call South Bend his home. If he does so, he could be one of three different 4-star receivers that ultimately commit to the Notre Dame football team. There’s a chance he along with Devin Fitzgerald and Kaydon Finley, would be the finishing touches on a near top of the nation recruiting class.
Robinson has shown off the talent that has made the Irish one of the top prospects in the country. As a junior, Robinson turned 79 receptions into 1,408 yards and 15 touchdowns. He’s expected to be even bigger and better in 2025.
It turns out the Notre Dame football team won’t have to wait long to find out if Wiltfong and the many, many other recruiting analysts are correct. The wide receiver originally pegged July 20 as his commitment date. However, he’s since moved that up to July 6.
