The Notre Dame football team is expected to have a massive end of June. The recruiting haul has already started coming in thanks to Grayson Keogh pulling the trigger on Wednesday night. Still, every recruiting analyst out there thinks that was the first volley.

Ahead of a weekend where the Irish might see one heck of a run, there are no less than five prospects who analysts predicted will pick Marcus Freeman and company. The real question is whether it’s going to be a busy, busy day for one of the best classes in the 2026 cycle, or whether the official announcements will be spaced out.

Notre Dame football could see recruiting fireworks soon with as many as five quick commitments

As of Thursday morning, defensive back Joey O’Brien, wide receiver Devin Fitzgerald, offensive tackle Charlie Thom, cornerback Khary Adams, and safety Nick Reddish are all predicted by one analyst or another to play for the Notre Dame football team at the next level.

Some of these predictions are more surprising than others, but all of them are welcome. One of the most surprising might be Joey O’Brien, not because the Irish have been trailing in the fight, but because there was some talk last week that he might have been persuaded away from South Bend.

The same could be said of Adams and Reddish over the last few weeks. However, the relationships that Marcus Freeman and his staff have managed to forge with these players is strong enough that even when they have a wandering eye.

For Fitzgerald, On3’s Mike Singer and Steve Wiltfong both put in predictions for Notre Dame in the last few days. 247Sports’ Clemson analyst Austin Hannon joins them.

Thom might be the prediction that is running under the radar more than others, but On3’s Mike Singer believes that after getting an offer recently, he’ll commit soon.

Wiltfong’s name is also attached to Adams’ prediction from On3, while the 247Sports staff combined to say that the defender is eventually headed to the Fighting Irish.

The same staff picked Reddish to go to South Bend this week, while his On3 predictions are from back in April. The defensive back has liked what he’s seen from the Blue and Gold, but now he’s closer to closing the deal.

O’Brien’s predictions for the Notre Dame football team are also rather old from On3 but Hannon just put in a prediction for him on 247Sports. That’s especially interesting because Clemson was said to be fighting its way onto his list. It appears they didn’t fight hard enough.
