The Notre Dame football team seems to have convinced pollsters it's good enough to make the playoffs. The team is ranked inside the Top 10 in both polls this week, meaning they're comfortably in line for a berth in the postseason.

After the blowout win over Navy, it appears the Fighting Irish are convincing plenty of people they're for real. That includes CBS analyst Nicole Auerbach, who recently said ND has done enough to "wash away" the Northern Illinois loss.

She claimed that Notre Dame football’s appeal to the College Football Playoff committee is that they’re a “different team, they’re allowed to get better over the course of a season.”

It's worth noting that The Week 2 upset to Northern Illinois was a tough pill to swallow for many, as some immediately panicked and wanted to move on from Marcus Freeman. Well, those same people might be trying to jump back on the bandwagon, as the Irish have now reeled off six-straight victories follow its blowout of Navy on Saturday afternoon.

The win over Texas A&M at the beginning of the season is also looking more impressive by the week, considering that the Aggies haven't lost a game since that Week 1 game. They've even got a win over Top 10 LSU.

The Notre Dame football team looks like a squad that could make a run to the playoffs for sure. But they also look like a team that could make a run once they get to the playoffs. And that's the most impressive part.
