Just how hot is the Notre Dame football team when it comes to recruiting? Even other teams’ recruiting analysts are having to admit that contested prospects are likely picking the Fighting Irish over their favored team. Such is the case for Kaydon Finley, the 4-star wide receiver who will be pulling the trigger next week. It’s become so obvious that the Blue and Gold are winning that recruiting battle that even Texas Longhorn recruiting analysts have had to admit they think the Lone Star State prospect is headed to South Bend.
With Notre Dame seemingly getting a commitment every single day, Marcus Freeman and his staff are gearing up for a period where they might get three wide receiver commits over a three day period. Several analysts predict Finley to be one of those three. Devin Fitzgerald and Braydon Robinson are expected to join him.
Texas insiders flip predictions to Notre Dame for 4-star WR Kaydon Finley
Earlier this week, Finley got two predictions to commit to Notre Dame football from none other than Eric Nahlin and Joe Cook. Both analysts work for Inside Texas, the On3 site dedicated to covering the Texas Longhorns.
In the post on social media where the two analysts made it clear they were picking Finley, it was clear they felt as though Steve Sarkisian would have to find a Plan B to the 4-star receiver.
Meanwhile, the Notre Dame faithful appreciate the fact that analysts and media members all over the country are taking notice of what the Irish are doing. The team is knocking off some of the best of the best.
The hot streak has to end at some point. There has to be a time when Marcus Freeman isn’t getting these types of wins. But that time isn’t here yet. For now, it appears that the Notre Dame football team is on a generational recruiting run.
