The Notre Dame football team has gone quite a while without and addition to their 2025 recruiting class. But that could all change tomorrow afternoon. One of the top Fighting Irish wide receiver targets in the current cycle is announcing his school.

Marcus Freeman and company haven’t had much luck with this particular group. There was a time when Jayvan Boggs was thought to be a shoo-in, but he decided to go anywhere else. But regarding JonAntony Hall, ND has a real chance to land a new pledge.

Notre Dame football could be landing one of its top wide receiver targets this week

Hall took to social media on Wednesday to announce he’s picking his future school on Friday.

“I’ll be committing on Friday June 28th at Noon(EST),” Hall wrote on Twitter. “Big thanks to all the coaches and anyone that has been apart of my journey!!”

It’s worth noting that at the moment, the Irish are not favored to get the Fishers, Indiana native. In fact, the 4-star wide receiver has most recruiting analysts believe he’s head to the Stanford Cardinal.

That would be one heck of a loss for the Golden Domers, should the commitment go as expected. Notre Dame has had a hard time locking down the state, despite some very clear indicators they’re on the come up.

They’ve especially had an oddly weird time getting the best receivers in the class to commit, or stick to their commitment. They did have Shaun Terry in the fold earlier this year but he recently went back on his pledge and then committed to the Missouri Tigers.

Should Hall, who caught 69 passes for 1,055 yards in his junior season, pull the trigger for a team that landed in the ACC because the Big 12 didn’t want them, it would be an odd recruiting loss for the Notre Dame football team.

We’ll find out if the Fighting Irish can pull off the upset at straight up noon on Friday.
