The Notre Dame Fighting Irish women’s basketball team is going dancing, but the Notre Dame football team had a good Sunday as well. On Pot of Gold Day, the football team gave out dozens of scholarship offers.

They also got a commit in Jerome Bettis Jr and are now trending for their top 2026 quarterback target. The coaches seemed to really enjoy the noise they were making as they took to social media to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and the Pot of Gold Day in South Bend.

Freeman wasn’t the only one who took to social media to celebrate the big day. Other Notre Dame coaches, including his defensive coordinator, Al Golden, also did so.

It will be a while before we know exactly how good the Pot of Gold Day was for the Irish but for now, it looks like it was a pretty good day.

If there was any doubt about how good the Notre Dame football team’s defense was, PFF released its Power Conference defensive linemen rankings. It turns out that two Golden Domers are on that list.

Howard Cross and Rylie Mills are among the top 10 returning defensive linemen in the country. It’s going to fun to watch them this fall.

The Notre Dame baseball team is struggling after a very nice start to the season. After getting swept by Florida State over the weekend, the Fighting Irish are now 0-6 in the ACC. An 11-2 non-conference slate is the only reason they still have a winning record on the season.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish lacrosse team on the other hand, is rolling. On Saturday, the Golden Domers beat rival Michigan 19-9. They’re now 5-1 on the season, ranked #2 in the country and have improved to 6-1 all-time against the Wolverines.
