Notre Dame football slated to land a Pot of Gold level quarterback
The Notre Dame football recruiting efforts picked up quite a bit on March 17. Known as Pot of Gold day in and around South Bend, the Fighting Irish had some serious luck. Some of that luck arrived in the form of their 19th commit for the 2025 class.
Jerome Bettis Jr is now in the fold. He may be joined by one of the better players in the 2026 class in the very near future. That's because according to at least one analyst, Notre Dame are the leaders in the clubhouse for 2026 quarterback Brady Hart.
Over on 247Sports, Steve Wiltfong has officially entered a Crystal Ball for Hart to land in South Bend when the smoke clears. Unsurprisingly, if Marcus Freeman and company were able to pull that off, it would be another big recruiting win.
Coming off a solid sophomore season, Hart already stands 6-foot-4 and has a strong arm to go along with his picturesque frame. He's also someone whose stock is only rising as the recruiting for his class ramps up.
For his part, Brady Hart has already made it clear that he's quite into Notre Dame football. When he first got an offer. Now it's all about the Fighting Irish making sure they can close the deal.
Notre Dame football in the lead for touted quarterback
Earlier this winter, Hart talked about how exciting the recruiting process has been for him. Especially because there are so many big schools coming calling.
"Recruiting has been on fire lately,” he told Irish Breakdown. “I have been offered recently by schools such as Notre Dame, Arkansas, UNC and Penn State. It has been exciting."
Despite offers from some of the best schools in the country, it looks like Notre Dame football is in the driver's seat. With CJ Carr tucked into South Bend from the 2024 class and Deuce Knight still on board for the 2025 cycle, Brady Hart would be quite the addition from 2026.
