It’s been a rather fun week for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish basketball team. Marcus Shrewsberry is building up a team that is going to have more talent on its roster than its had in years.

On Monday, the Irish secured the commitment of 4-star forward Brady Koehlers. On Wednesday, they got the highest-rated recruit of the modern era, Jalen Haralson.

Now it looks like they might be in line to land a third commitment. And that commitment too would be one heck of a get for a Notre Dame Fighting Irish team that didn’t manage to log a winning record a season ago.

Ryder Frost, the No. 97 overall prospect in the class of 2025 from Beverly, Massachusetts will announce his decision on Friday. Frost will make his decision between Michigan, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Iowa, Virginia Tech, and Syracuse.

Normally, going up against teams of that stature might make some ND fans thinking it’s an automatic loss. However, this week has changed that outlook.

Shrewsberry has also worked quite hard to get Frost to see what his program has to offer. Frost has taken an official visit to South Bend and the prospect said the school has been in contact often.

"I really think it's a great opportunity with coach Shrewsberry there.” Frost told 247Sports. They've really been in contact a lot. Coach Farrelly hit me during my school season and they've been consistent. I'm really confident in what they can do and it's just a really good option."

It’s not just that Frost has said nice things about the Blue and Gold. 247Sports not only has the forward predicted to go to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the analysts have given their the prediction an unusual level of confidence he’ll be committing there on Friday.
