Notre Dame football analyst names player he's most excited to watch

It should be a surprise to absolutely no one that people are quite excited to see what the Notre Dame football defense can do to their opponents this season. There’s Howard Cross III, there’s Xavier Watts, there’s Jack Kiser.

There’s also a freshman linebacker that Fighting Irish fans, coaches and analysts are all very excited about. Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa is someone that has gotten a ton of positive mentions since he committed. He’s gotten even more positive comments once he got to South Bend.

And now, the Notre Dame football freshman is getting some serious love from a legacy analyst who likes what he sees from the young defender. 

Mike Golic Jr. took to social media to make it clear he likes what Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa brings to the table. He quote tweeted some quotes from defensive coordinator Al Golden, who had his own glowing things to say about Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa.

"They’re ready to go,” the quote from Golden read. “There’s not even a second thought. There’s not a conversation."

Golden then added that he woudln’t be nearly as optimistic if not for the freshman. Golic Jr. then chimed in with his own caption.

“Easily the guy I’m most excited to watch this season. by all accounts sounds like a capital-D Dude”

The Notre Dame football team, especially the defense, is going to have a lot of dudes. If the freshman linebacker can turn into one of them, then the Irish could be even better than we all expected.
