Notre Dame football running back Jeremiyah Love is more familiar with Texas A&M than a lot of his teammates. That’s because when he was deciding which school to go to out of high school, it came down to the Blue and Gold and the Maroon and White.

“I haven’t seen Jeremiyah this motivated to play since 11th grade,” Jason Love, Jeremiah’s father told Irish Sports Daily earlier this week. “At this level, I have never seen him this excited to show what he can do. I feel for the other teams because he is going to make his name known.”

The Notre Dame football team has to be pretty excited about that sort of thing. They’re going to need all the help they can get against the Aggies on Saturday night. It seems like at the moment, the entire sports world is against the Irish and doesn’t think they can win. Except for Lee Corso.

It’s also interesting that both of the guys who will likely get the bulk of the carries for the Irish have a chip on their shoulder against Texas A&M. Earlier this week, Jadarian Price made it clear he was bringing some ‘tude into College Station.

Notre Dame football running back has an edge against Aggies

“They know him, but they don’t really know him,” Jason said regarding the Texas A&M staff. “He’s bigger, he’s stronger, he’s faster and he’s smarter. They don’t know what he is yet.”

That too, sounds like good news for the Notre Dame football team. Now Jeremiyah Love's just got to show what he can do on Saturday night.
