As the Notre Dame football team prepares for its first game of the regular season, make no mistake that Marcus Freeman and company are still focusing a ton of their attention on trying to bring in the next generation of player. The good news there is that at least one of the guys they’ve paid the most attention to over the last few months does indeed seem to be “all-in.”

While the Irish are spending a lot of time worrying about losing Deuce Knight to the SEC after thinking he was very much in the fold for over a year, all eyes are turning to Noah Grubbs. And he doesn’t seem to mind the attention.

The 4-star 2026 quarterback recruit has in fact, seemed to flourish since it’s looked like he was “the” quarterback commit of Notre Dame football’s last few years. If Grubbs ends up being “the guy” after CJ Carr, it stands to reason that Fighting Irish fans won’t mind either.

On Friday night, Grubbs was spotted throwing the ball around, getting ready for his team’s game. And while he was getting ready to go out there in his second game of the 2024 senior season, he was spotted sporting a Notre Dame towel.

This kind of thing is of course, not a huge deal. But it should be stated that while Rivals was the organization that pointed it out, plenty of others will notice Grubbs is repping his future school.

Notre Dame football needs some wins on the recruiting front after some bad months. They can take Grubbs being that proud of what school he’ll head to in a few years as an absolute win.
