When the Fighting Irish take to the practice fields for the first time this spring as a team, they'll have at least nine visitors taking it all in. Some of those guys are already commits to Notre Dame. Others are still giving the Golden Domers a look.

All are going to get to meet new Notre Dame football stars like Riley Leonard and Kris Mitchell. Guys who are expected to be big pieces of the puzzle for 2024. Check out who will be in South Bend starting Thursday below.

Notre Dame football hosting several big name prospects at start of spring practice

Mchale Blade

Blade is a 2026 edge-rushing prospect out of Illinois who already has a ton of power conference offers under his belt. Nebraska, Michigan, Penn State and Florida stand out as the top competitors for this prospect.

Gabriel Hill

Hill is yet another highly touted Illinois prospect who will be checking out the Notre Dame football team later this week. He doesn't have as many offers of Blade, but the 2026 defensive lineman has offers from power teams like Iowa and Illinois.

Joey O'Brien

O'Brien is a 2026 defensive back and wide receiver out of Philadlphia. The prospect had 38 tackles, 30 solo takedowns, three interceptions, and 18 pass breakups on defense while tallying 24 catches for 339 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Grant Beerman

Beerman is one of the only 2025 prospects checking out the Notre Dame football team on Thursday. The linebacker has dozens of offers, though so far, the Irish are not one of them. It's possible he could leave South Bend with a new one.

Cam Thomas

Thomas is one of the more sought after prospects that will be in town at the start of spring practice. The 2026 athlete projects at linebacker at the next level. This is a repeat visit for the a Ohio player, who has liked what he's

Robbie Wollan

Wollan is a visitor who is actually a member of the Notre Dame football team. He had some scholarship offers but chose to walk on with the Fighting Irish. He'll officially enroll this fall but gets to check out his new school this week.

Max Hurleman

Hurleman might be the most intriguing visitor on Thursday. He's an FCS grad transfer out of Colgate who was a First Team All-Patriot League in 2023 and could be a useful weapon as a special teams player. The Notre Dame football coaches will attempt to make that case when spring practice begins.
