Film Review: Notre Dame Targets & Commits Play in Under Armour All-America Game
By Andrew Hall
Notre Dame commitments and targets participated in the Under Armour All-America game on January 2nd. The commitments included Kicker Justin Yoon, Quarterback Brandon Wimpish, Linebacker Tevon Coney and Cornerback Shaun Crawford. The prospects included Wide Receiver Equanimeous St. Brown and Running Back Soso Jamabo.
Kicker Justin Yoon (Notre Dame Commit)
It is hard to believe a kicker could steal the show in an All-Star game but Yoon came very close. Yoon converted on all three of his PATs. He knocked in three field goals from 31, 32 and 47. If there was room for improvement with Yoon, it would be on his kickoffs. Many of his kickoffs failed to reach the end zone.
Quarterback Brandon Wimbush (Notre Dame Commit)
Wimbush started the game for the Armour squad at Quarterback. Although Wimbush did not have his best game, he showed that he has the tools to be a great college Quarterback. Wimbush can really fire the football all over the field. On one incomplete pass, Wimbush threw the ball 55 yards in the air with ease.

Linebacker Tevon Coney (Notre Dame Commit)
Coney looks extremely physical in his play. Clearly, he is an inside the box player who can shed blockers and fight through the wash. Coney is a bigger hitter. In college, Coney will likely play the MIKE Linebacker position.
Defensive Back Shaun Crawford (Notre Dame Commit)
ESPN Recruiting Expert Tom Luginbill said during the broadcast that Crawford stood out in a group that included 5-star Cornerbacks Iman Marshall and Kendall Sheffield. Crawford showed his instincts and physical ball when he jumped and broke up a slant pattern in the 2nd Quarterback. Despite his small stature, he plays tough and big.
Wide Receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (Notre Dame Target)
St. Brown appears extremely long and lean with his 6’5″ 205 lbs. frame. Similar to rising Junior Corey Robinson, St. Brown needs to add weight to become a better player. He caught a pass on a curl route. The route was run well. However, later on, St. Brown looked sloppy on a screen pass.
Running Back Soso Jamabo (Notre Dame Target)
Jamabo looks small but he is a solid all around player. He does not need to come off the field in any situation. Jamabo can pass block well. However, with his small stature, he is prone to fumbling. Jamabo will need to add weight to be a truly effective player at the next level.
