4 things we’ll definitely see in Bleacher Report’s new ND series

More Trick Shot Mondays
Legend has it, Knute Rockne began the tradition of Trick Shot Mondays more than 90 years ago when he and George Gipp sank a sweet sweet behind-the-back, off-the-wall shot in Washington Hall. Since then, it’s been a regular feature of the football team’s weekly preparation across generations.

But seriously though, can’t we all agree this is kind of a played out concept? No? You love watching a group of elite athletes take five minutes to make a trick shot and then celebrate like they just scored a game-winning touchdown? You think I’m just a curmudgeon who hates fun and letting football players have identities off the field?
Ok then. I get that. And I’ve accepted the fact that Trick Shot Mondays will never stop. Never, ever, ever. And while Showtime never subsumed the tradition, it’s a natural fit for the bite-sized, social media-focused Bleacher Report.
Now that Joe Schmidt has graduated, the segment needs a new ringleader. Tillery could easily step up, though he has never featured that prominently before, but it could also be DeShone Kizer, if he’s not too busy starting. My dark horse guess is Parker Boudreaux, but his time might be a few years away.
Oh, and you know Schmidt will come back to make a special guest appearance. What else is he doing now?
