The Notre Dame football program is currently in line for a College Football Playoff berth, and here is their next recruiting class.
The Notre Dame football program has put themselves in position for a national title this season, running through the ACC with a perfect record, and clinching a spot in the ACC title game. In fact, even with a loss in the ACC Championship Game, it is extremely likely that the Irish will end up in the College Football Playoff, thanks to their dominance on both sides of the ball this season.
Throughout the season, we have been seeing plenty of recruits pledge their commitments to play for the Irish in 2021 and beyond, but on Wednesday, all of that hearsay became a reality. As we dive into the 2021 recruiting class, we see a tremendous blend of talent on both sides of the ball, as Brian Kelly continues to make the Irish one of the top programs in the country every year.
There is a lot of work to do in terms of the roster, as they have to replace stars like Javon McKinley, Ian Book, and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah to name a few next season, and some of these freshmen are going to come in and make a statement right away. We have seen some freshmen dominate this season for the Irish as well, so the future is certainly bright in South Bend.
With that said let us take a look at those players who have sent in their National Letter of Intent on Wednesday.

The party got started early for the Irish, as the commitments started rolling in early in the day. For the Irish, this class has the potential to be very special, and the fact that these guys were so quick to make their commitments official is a great sign as we enter the official signing day in February.
Cornerback Ryan Barnes was the first to sign on the dotted line, but once that was announced, the class began to really fall into place.

As you can see, the signings are flying in, as these players committed to playing for Brian Kelly, and are obviously excited to end their recruiting and start focusing on helping this program moving forward. This is an exciting class of players, filling holes where graduating players are leaving, and the program should be in great shape moving forward.
