Marcus Freeman’s squad recently landed a new tight end commit in Ian Premer and when they scored his pledge, they did so instead of Kansas State. The Wildcats were hoping to land the player.
That they didn’t actually get Premer had some Kansas State fans believing that the tight end made a mistake. Some of those fans said that the Wildcats were actually the bigger and more well known program. They really did seemingly break their brains.

Notre Dame Fighting Irish football commit Joey O’Brien might have his brightest future on the defensive side of the ball, but that doesnt’ mean he doesn’t have a ton of talent on the offensive side. This weekend, O’Brien showed that until he lands in South Bend officially, he’s still a very good two-way player. The Irish pledge showed off his skills at the OT7 Playoffs. He managed to score a touchdown in the showcase on Sunday, the final day for these playoffs.

Notre Dame footbal's very first commitment in the 2026 recruiting class doesn't intend to change his plans any time soon. That is a significant development for Marcus Freeman and his staff. Dylan Faison offered some good news during a period where plenty of players are going back on their commit. While he was recruited and offered by the Miami Hurricanes, he’s not going to the ACC school and will instead still be attending classes in South Bend.
