The launch day for EA Sports College Football 25 is almost here. For Notre Dame football fans who ordered the Deluxe Edition, they’ll be able to play it on Monday at 4pm. But that still begs one big question.

When you do take up the Fighting Irish, just what offense and defense should you use? Which offense and defense will best suit the talent that is on the team? Talent that has ND as one of the top teams in the game?

CBS Sports put together a rather comprehensive list of teams in EA Sports College Football’s Top 25 and got an analyst for each team. Notre Dame football analyst Tim Prister believes the Air Raid offense is the way to go.

Notre Dame football best fits into the Air Raid offense in EA Sports College Football

"An air raid playbook offensively makes sense with OC-Mike Denbrock favoring 11 personnel and three-/four-wideouts. He has the loose-armed Riley Leonard to throw it to a multitude of receivers. A healthy Mitchell Evans at tight end will wear out defenses over the middle. He's a seam-play dream. The Irish still possess the ability to grind out yards with their physical background pre-Denbrock.

Prister also has an idea on what kind of defense those using the Fighting Irish and while the Air Raid might surprise some old school Irish fans, his defensive ideas are traditional and built to dominate.

Definitely a 4-3 front with Notre Dame possessing one of the best defensive lines in the country, led by interior linemen Howard Cross III and Rylie Mills with Duke defensive end transfer RJ Oben primed to explode. Defensive coordinator Al Golden has an array of zone blitz concepts.

In just a little over 24 hours, Notre Dame football fans will get to try out Prister’s suggestions and see if they work best in EA Sports College Football 25.
