The Notre Dame football team doesn’t have a game this week. That doesn’t mean that Irish fans are going to be bored at all this weekend.

There are plenty of other Week 10 games that will be of great interest to ND fans. Some of the games feature future opponents. Som are all about trying to figure out the 12-team playoff seeding.

Other games are mostly just going to be interesting to watch unfold. But whatever game you’re talking about, there’s plenty for Notre Dame football fans to take in this week, even if the Irish are sitting on the sidelines getting ready for Florida State next week.

What games Notre Dame football fans should watch in Week 10

#3 Penn State Nittany Lions vs #4 Ohio State Buckeyes

This is a biggie. This could be considered a first round game in the playoffs to figure out who will be in the Big Ten Title Game.

#5 Miami Hurricanes vs Duke Blue Devils

This one is more about seeing whether or not a Duke team that has been pretty competitive this year could pull off an upset that could shake up the playoff field.

#21 Army Black Knights vs Air Force Falcons

Notre Dame fans should be rooting hard for this one. Army needs to be undefeated when it’s time to take on the Irish.

Michigan Wolverines vs #1 Oregon Ducks

Another game where the implications are really just how the playoffs might shape up. Michigan is a good enough team that there is at least a small chance the Wolverines could pull off an upset, even if its a small one.

#11 Iowa State Cyclones vs Texas Tech Red Raiders

Another game that could impact the playoffs and how many berths the Big 12 gets. Root for Texas Tech here.

Michigan State Spartans vs #13 Indiana Hoosiers

Like the Iowa State game, this is about hoping that the Big Ten gets less playoff bids. That will make it easier for the Notre Dame football team to get in.
